Bugfix 2 Up

This one should solve the game breaking bugs, let me know what else you find. It doesn't solve everything, so I'll have plenty more work to do.

During this month and part of next, most likely, I'll be doing rewrites, bug fixes, and so on to shore up the game before the last two chapters.

So it'll go like this:

- Bugfixes and rewrites
- Luonnotar's chapter
- Bugfixes and rewrites (Mostly final)
- Final Mystery Chapter
- Final polish for the game

I'll discuss my future plans once Luonnotar's chapter is done. For now, let me know if there are any other game breaking bugs. Overwhored isn't far from being done.

EDIT:

;_;

Fix 3 will be up in a few hours, I won't be announcing it. It'll let you into the cowgirl farm. These are for those who get lost finding the farm or the village.

    1. The error is still here....
      Well it states
Script 'Idle Party Events ' line 93:No method Error ocured
      undefined method 'id for nil:NilClass

    2. Basically i exit a room and game crash

    3. There was supposed to be something to fix that. This is extremely annoying.

    4. The error still exists on Fix 3 if attempting to leave the tower. If I attempt to go upstairs instead, it lists a new error as well. Script 'Game_Event' line 217:NoMethodError occured
      undefined method 'has_item?' for nil:NilClass

    5. the error youre experiencing is from older saves, theyre incompatable with the newest version, I got them as well when I would try using my older saves

  2. How do I choose the squads for the big battle? All I can do is pick the first squad but it won't let me make the other 2 I need.

  3. I don't have a save file so I started the game and used the cat to skip past Brada. Went to the teleportation room and the game froze.

    1. did you play on an older version because if you did you can take the save file from that one and place in the new game

  4. There seems to be an issue in the big battle that causes all enemy units to freeze in place. I set up my first two squads to block chokepoints and then roam with my third squad. After both columns of enemies hit the chokepoint, all enemies freeze in place for the remainder of the encounter. Not sure if this intentional or not.

    1. I deleted the bit of programming causing all the frozen motion. It was really more of a headache than it was worth, considering it wasn't even supposed to be used and was being held in reserve to stop some wonkyness with the motion.

  5. Cowgirl farm doesn't appear to be accessible. Talked to princess Tasa, she gets teleported, and then I go to where I presume the farm would be (opposite barracks) and it's still blocked off.

    1. A fix that lets you in will be up shortly. It'll also have a bypass for people that saved after talking to the princesses and setting up the farm, since that's where the switch was supposed to turn on.

  6. Lol that "EDIT". Hehe.

I didn't encounter any of the errors written here except the cowgirl farm not existing.

Anyway, is it safe to assume that the Monstergirl Village hints heavily at Overwhored II? (not the expansion)

Sucks that you can't brainwash all of them though. Oh well.

    1. Yeah, it's basically setting up the protagonist of Overwhored II.

  7. Cow girl farm is a fail, and can't find Bilbine any where in the fortress or barracks.

    1. Bilbine and Bilbao will be next. Right now it's just the cowgirl farm, battle, and monstergirl village. If I can manage to get those working right I'll move onto other stuff.

      Delete
    2. So how do I get the cowgirl farm to actually work? I can't find the Princess anywhere once she's teleported to the fortress.

    3. It'll be accessible in an hour or two, I didn't set up the gate unlocking process correctly. Next fix version. Saves can transfer between, feel free to enjoy the monstergirl village until then.

    4. An hour or two?! But that's like forever!! Lol just kidding I'll wait but I won't like it much lol.

  8. Finding the Bigfoot girl in the monster village for the 3rd time (disguised as old man) causes the game to freeze up and not work.

    1. I'm looking at it now, and I'm not seeing what should cause that.
Any error message? What's the last line of dialogue or thing that happens when the game freezes?

      Delete
    2. No idea I go through the other two hide and seek scenes just fine but when I corner at the 3rd spot the game just straight up froze and I had to close it down. Waited incase it was a loading issue but after 5 minutes figured it was a game issue.

    3. Oh side note, after the big battle the tower mistress is no longer available for me to use as a party member.

      Delete
    4. I just tested it myself and it didn't crash, so I'm not sure what caused it in your case. If it happens again, that's a bug a lot of people might experience.

      Delete
    5. Got it working no worries, but yeah tower mistress still missing.

  10. Reposting this as it still is a problem:

When i want to leave Barracks, i get this:

Script 'Idle Party Events' line 93: NoMethodError occured.
    undefined method 'id' for nil:NilClass

    1. Its not just barracks its any room you leave

    2. I'm seconding this very same issue

    3. Also, the Overmind is a different sprite, so i think it is best to change to a new save file. At least Tower Mistress speeds the process by a lot. Cypress, dont you even dare to remove her xD

      Delete
    4. Amen to that man, please dont remove her!

  11. I wonder if im transferring my saves the wrong way, copy and paste them from the old version to the new one. Perhaps thats why im getting the Script 'Idle Party Events' line 93: NoMethodError occured.
    undefined method 'id' for nil:NilClass..

    1. i do mine like this i pick up the save data file move from the old to the new game folder

      Delete
    2. It doesn't work with the newer versions though, some major bits of the content have been altered and changed so the older saves simply won't work. Just play through from the start it's good for you and you get to see new stuff here and there.

      Delete
    3. Yeah, some updates are going to break saves, that's inevitable when you're developing a game like this. It looks like the move from .0.5.1 to .0.5.3 broke saves. I can't speak for Cypress but generally it's not worth the effort to try to make sure saves are transferable between versions at this point in development.

      Delete
    4. If you go by that logic then making a save now will be useless when the final version comes out.

      Delete
    5. I started a new save for 5.3 because the rooms did that after playing 5.1 as there have been changes done, seems to be common for rpg maker games with big updates or code changes

  12. how can i do cow girl quest?
which princess that need to choose
blue hair or green hair princess

  13. Minor glitch: In the north jungle screen I found a monster that doesn't clear from the map when I beat it. So it's standing there pushing up against me and triggering a fight again as soon as the battle screen clears. On the plus side I've ground myself up to about level thirty on the thing.

  14. any hint where that dam ship is?The only ships I can find are not working/at beerenberg the capitan say there is work needed, and at Sayda is noone around to ask....

Oh and the good news -for me!-the bug fix 2 works well.also impoting save file from the fist vers.05.3.....as long as you dont use a save file where you was frozen in the earlier version.

    1. The ship isn't in the game yet, that's the next chapter.

    3. Dammit, NoMoshing told me he'd put that up. It's done, it's just not up apparently. No wonder the problems I thought were fixed were still getting bug reports.

  19. Game freezing bug caused by empty victory screen in west warrior cemetery ...got the 5 girls from west village, back at tower told to find cem next to that west village in mountain to get a relic, fight skeletons.
No cem in mountain, crossed bridge south into 3 part mountain pass, told to rescue men from warrior cem..saved to new slot,(no skeletons, wraiths instead), fought thru, unlocked 1st gate, looking for clue to unlock 2nd, turned into west cem, very 1st monster (2 horsemen flanking a tough beastie), won, went to a victory screen devoid of text (xp, gold) entire game froze, had to X out to cold exit game, even esc key didn't go to menus..
