2014 will be a good year for the Overwhored project. Most of the vital art is done, I'm finally skilled enough with art to do a bit myself for the game, and the rebuild of the system is done.
Recent updates:
I started on the Pirate Captain Titjob picture a while ago, messed it up and had to start from scratch. I now have it drawn and inked; flat colors and shading will come next. Here's a quick preview.

The most important recent update is the music. Which is to say there's all new music. I finally found a good artist who puts their music up for open use.
The old music was purchased with my own money prior to donations being a thing. It looked good in the previews. Unfortunately, I spent $70 on precisely the songs you heard in the game. The rest weren't from the same artist and were so bad they were unusable.
I may use some of the old songs still, but I'm not sure. Personally I'm sick of hearing them but let me know if you've got a favorite or two.
I do need your feedback for one more thing, however.
I can fit a couple of monstergirls in the game. Which types do you want to see?
One proviso: I will NOT do succubi. Personal preference.
Actual appearance in the game depends on what sprites I can alter or find for that type of monstergirl, but I'm open to any suggestion except for the one above.

ReplyDeleteNot a lover of Succubi eh? What about Alrune? (I think that's the name for that plant monster which has a human body growing out of the flower)
Monster girl suggestions? Hrm... What about harpies or kappa? A sphinx might be interesting to see. For additional inspiration you could always look up Norse mythology. The Dutch have some interesting monsters, for example.
ReplyDeleteAwesome game man, and sell yourself short on the quality of your artwork! That said, I for one think that her arms are very short compared to the rest of her body, if she stood up it currently looks like they would only reach down to her stomach instead of her thighs like normal.
ReplyDeleteAs for monstergirls, why not female sasquatch/bigfoot? Of all the monsters that get feminized in ecchi rpgs I don't think I've seen one of that type before. Alternatively I'm always up for insect-girls that are in similar vein to Q-Bee from the Darkstalkers series.
Werewolves, Lizardmen or maybe Skyllas ? If there will be pirates and more seafaring adventures, then maybe waterbased Monstergirls you could free and use to attack other ships might be suitable ? (Skylla, Mermaid, Kraken, etc.)

ReplyDeleteI'd love to see naga/lamia or drider. Really any monster girl that is obviously attractive, powerful, and dangerous will work well for me, its less about the specific type and more about the "yup shes a boss and shes mine" factor.
Spider-girl, also your art looks good to me, totally fap worthy. color (which i imagine you will add) would be grand though.

DeleteExcept instead of sucking blood, they suck souls. Nothing would kill my boner faster than having sex with an oversized hideous tick.
Other non-parasitic demon girls are fine, but a succubus is specifically a living parasite designed to prey upon humans; a giant tick wearing the skin of a sexy woman and moving around like a walking STD.
On my personal scale of sexy, which ranges from "HRNG" to "KILL IT WITH FIRE!" Succubi are on the far end of the fire side of the scale for me.
And yes, I control the canon, so I can make a succubus function however I want. But as far as I'm concerned it'll always be like putting lipstick on a disease ridden tick. It does not make it prettier and in fact only increases my desire to acquire a flammenwerfer and werf some flammen at it until the ashes have been reduced to vapor. I'd rather fuck a rabid shaved male chimp with AIDS. That was also on fire. Succubi are horrible, is what I'm saying.
That said it doesn't matter to me what other people like; I'm just explaining why that is off limits to me. Plenty of people like succubi and that's okay. There's a few games I can point to for that sort of content. I don't play them, but I'm aware of them. Some of them are probably good from a gameplay standpoint.
You must not be a fan of vampires then either. Behind all the glamour they're essentially walking talking bedbugs....

Well that's hard oo i like all kind of monstergirl x) but if i must choose, i'll say Dragon girl, Fox girl (more Kitsune like), Harpies, Shark girl and Slime girl.

Oni, Kitsune, Lamia...it would be interesting having a gargoyle. Gargoyle's are traditionally used to ward off evil and having one that tried to stop you from getting in somewhere and you could "tame" it might be fun. :D

ReplyDeleteKitsune, nekomata, oni, slime girls, and werewolves are all good choices as they are all pretty popular. My vote would go to kitsune, nekomata, and oni. The reason for this is because they all have unique traits that could go well with the story; for example a nekomata could raise the dead, a kitsune could be a powerful magic user, and a oni could be a powerful warrior.
