Quick Update

Not much for me to report right now. Just got back from a hospital visit. Have a few more later this week. Once this post is done I'm going to bed.

Not much done last week due to stuff like the above. Tomorrow I'm going to write a post to help people considering making their own H-RPG, or just RPG in general, or just game in general. I'm not feeling up to it at the moment though.

I'll help anyone who wants to make a game with advice. I won't make your game for you, but I'll definitely help point people in the direction of resources and show you how to outline a story and set up a game. Come back tomorrow, I'll go over that then.

One other thing: I'm going to be looking into methods of promotion for the game soon. I'll want to ramp it up right before I release the next chapter (though that's a ways away) I don't have an advertising budget, so if you have suggestions, I'd like to hear 'em.

See you tomorrow.

I suppose making a free post on the internet technically counts as anyone and advice, but are you willing to help more specifically? ie, emails or forums?

    1. I've done so numerous times already. It usually takes a few days for me to get back to people, but I try to respond to all the e-mails I get asking for advice.

  2. For promotion, I recommend the Transformation Game site at tfgamessite.com (yeah, lots of genderbender stuff, but the cow-change means you can get Overwhored listed there.)

There's also Voyer's site list, just send him a link to this blogspot!

  3. Convince Fenoxo to mention it in his blog, you'll get a couple thousand within the first hour or so and probably ten thousand by the end of the day. Lol, it's a little scary how big a following he has.

    1. I second this. I thought I had found out about Overwhored from Fenoxo, but I do not see it on his links page. My second guess is that I found it via one of the other games on his page...

If I can offer a suggestion though, make sure you do it a few days after your next big release. Long enough to make sure there are not huge bugs, but recent enough to allow newcomers to see that progress is ongoing...

      Good luck with everything.
